A PokeAsk blog following Ashleigh, her husband Dew, and their three children, Coro, Taima, and Joule, living life in the Alola region! Join them as they go through their hardships, learning more about life as they go!
This blog is PG-13, and contains swearing and some sensitive/darker themes, such as abuse and mental illnesses, that will be tagged accordingly. While originally this blog wasn’t strictly plot oriented, feel free to check out the blog from the beginning!
As you may have noticed, this blog has been kind of resurrected, especially close to Dia de los Muertos, A holiday that I particularly enjoy as a mexican.
I’ve been thinking of bringing this blog back, but in a different presentation. For starters, this blog will no longer be Pokemon-Based, and will also no longer be an “Ask Blog”. Instead, I plan to turn this blog into a Furry-Based story driven blog that’s closer to a comic.
The main characters will be furries, including Eclipse the Twileon, who will be a Kitsune.
While in some occassions I’ll still accept asks, it won’t be the main force pushing the story forward. I’d say the execution of the blog will be similar to @/ask-october-fox, but will still be active all year-round
The plan was to return October 31st to coincide with the Spooky Season, but due to recent events, I have decided to push back the date to Sunday November 2nd, still connected to Dia de los Muertos, but not overshadowing ShayminCafe’s Ofrenda for @blueespeon
As for the reason why I’m coming back, more than anything, it’s cuz I want to have a B project while working on bigger projects. Something more relaxed compared to Project A, which I’ll reveal more details about once its further developed. I also want to be able to experiment with certain ideas for Project A here in this blog, before implementing in A
As for the story so far, I might… Reset the story so far, not uncommon for this blog tbh. It might have similar plot beats to what we have done so far, but we’ll get there when we get there.
Also, just in case, this blog will explore themes of queer identity, neurodiversity, Break ups, and moving on.

Special thanks to @dailyashleighraichu for assisting me behind the scenes with some of the fakemon abilities and concept art / creation! I had some trouble with deciding a couple of the evolutions and he kindly offered to help ^^~ you’ll see that coming up with the next chapter. ovo
Nothing bad, for the record. I know I said I was going to come back when the @asksavel book got fully funded. That was the plan, genuinely.
But then background stuff kept happening.
I’m not going too deep into it, because it doesn’t concern anyone outside my personal friend group, but the short answer is I need time to re-evaluate the current plot.

Dravol’s story is such a roller coaster and so brilliantly written. Excellent work, Skins. I’m glad I was here to see the end of such a wonderful story.
